Reflections Jazz & Swing Orchestra was formed by its present leader,
Paul Bastone, in the Spring of 1999. It is a traditional 18 piece big
band with vocalist, based in Rockland County, that plays a wide variety
of popular music including hits of the 30's and 40's. All of the members
are volunteers and are rewarded by the good feeling they get from
performing for diverse audiences and the knowledge that they are helping
to preserve the Big Band sound.

The band has performed concerts sponsored by the Pearl River Public
Library, Town of Haverstraw Summer Concert Series, the Nanuet Public
Library, Suffern Recreation Dept., Helen Hayes Rehabilitation Hospital,
Village of Greenwood Lake, Village of Montebello, Meals On Wheels,
Sunrise Assisted Living, Congregation Shomrei Emunah, Tuxedo Performing
Arts Group, Rockland Family Shelter, Friedwald House and Allendale
Community For Mature Living.
